Just a few minutes ago I received my confirmation letter for the XIII Congreso Latinoamericano de Geología / XIV Congreso Peruano de Geología confirming my registration and course participation. That's some good news I guess!
Also I like to thank people for their good wishes on my recovery. It's an up and down fight with myself mostly. I asked to stay two weeks longer than originally planed.

It's great to know you're coming. I'm so jealous, I don't have enough money for a course. Which one did you sign in?
Yea, I am already quite excited I am coming to Lima, too. Maybe there will be a chance to meet before or during the congress!
I signed up for:
SEG Workshop: "Geology of Pb-Zn Ore Deposits: The Present Perspective" with Richard Tosdale, David Leach, Lluís Fontboté and Larry Meinert.
I think that will be one of the most useful ones for me. It covers a wide range of deposits that I am interested in. Especially the MVTs Fontbote will be talking about.
There was another one I would like but it is very specialised on only Unconventional Zinc Deposits. I hope to talk to Gregor Borg though. He's from a German University.
